After 6 long months of working full time I am finally relieved of duty to Xtra-Vision. I loathed that job with every ounce of my being when I first started and by the end I loved it. It was a great job, with great perks and the people I worked with are good friends. I’ve taken a lot from working there, how to be more aggressive (in a good way), standing up for myself, voicing my opinion and dealing with bastardly people. I was a nervous, fumbling mess when I started last November, but i’ve come out the other end alive and better for it. Working there has been such a huge part of my gap year and I don’t regret it. It’s pushed me to work hard for a job i’ll love. Going from full time education to full time work was a real shock to the system, but I dealt with it and now it’s over. Weird. I’ll miss it, I probably have a bit of Stockholm Syndrome.  Anyway, what I really want to say is, I’M FREE! I have 10 whole days before I head to Texas so let’s go crazy! (I also want a friendly dinner/tea drinking evening with you all).
