This is about kids on medication for illnesses like ADHD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder etc. The impression I got from a lot of the kids was that they were being made to do things they didn’t want to, some of them were so trivial. One child was being treated because he didn’t like wearing certain types of clothes. It’s almost like they are being shaped by a society that demands them to be a certain way. I get why the parents put the kids on medication, it’s probably a very difficult thing to do by yourself. I think the medication is undoubtedly helpful for some people in certain circumstances but a lot of what I saw were just misunderstood kids who needed a bit of guidance. I dunno, I haven’t had to deal with it so I can’t really give a fair analysis. That’s just what I took from this show.
